Putting all pics in one place

Please bear with me as I am not computer/tech savvy at all.

I have a new digicam and so am learning how to upload pics here to DG.
This is my problem: I can't find some of my pics and I also have other pics in several places. The new pics I took the other day are in the Olympus master. But when I go there thru DG to post them, I can only find about half of them! When I search for them outside of DG they are all there.

Also, I have some older photos that are in My Documents/pictures and I also have some regular pic scanned on my HP printer/scanner in my HP program. I want all 3 sets of pics all in one file/folder or at least in the same "place".

Help!!
