Hey all. I'm looking for a flowery vine for a shady area... hopefully something with white or yellow flowers. But maybe something red would look better to contrast because it is going to go in this area directly in front of that... white wall. Hopefully I'll manage to find something that's not too huge of a vine! I was thinking about a brown eye susie vine but did anyone have any other ideas? THanks!!

Flowery vine for a shady area
Well, since your near where I am, I'd have to say the only vine I've been mildly successful with in shady areas are some strains of jasmine. I've not had any luck with any other vine. There are some interesting vines at Kartuz GreenHouses you might look at.

Hmmm... I was about to ask the same question. How about a non-flowery AND non-poisonous vine for a shady area in Houston? (Picky, aren't I??)

I just asked this same question over in the Texas forum and frostweed suggested Cross Vine. I'll let you know how it turns out. :-)
Oh great thank you!
