A question for you sheep and goat people.
Do any of you ever leave a full set of tripletts with the mother? I haven't been successful doing so yet. My first set of triplett goats ( this year) I almost immediately took off one triplett to bottle raise. I let them nurse a couple of times for colostrum if at all possible.
I have had another goat have a beautiful set of tripletts and with my busy schedule have left all her babies with her.. I thought this weekend while I was home I would start raising one on a bottle. Now, though she seems to be doing pretty well with all three of them.
I have never had a ewe or nanny raise tripletts.. Would love to know everyone elses experiences.
