cut my woodrose

Jackson, SC(Zone 8a)

it was just taking over everything and wasnt blooming at all. the frost has hit it three times and was tired of seeing dead mixed with alive stuff.

i had a trellis that had my evergreen wisteria on it and couldnt see them due to the woodrrose. the wisteria had seed pods all over it i didnt even know about. i dont think the vine hurt it but it was taking over though. it went over the trellises to the bradford pear. had to cut it out the tree.

oh well maybe next year it will bloom.(it will be 3)

Hi Marie,
Mine haven't bloomed either, mine are only a couple of years old.. got the seed from you. They are getting a very woody stem though. I wonder if they need a couple of years before they mature enough to bloom?

hmmm maybe these things need to be old before they bloom like wisteria.

my trunk is getting to be a good size too.

will just have to wait and see.
