The family group for my son's ship is doing a project for the crew. We'll be sending them t-shirts with our family's handprints. Great idea, but I'm having a hard time buying a fabric paint because I don't know how safe they are for kids to use. Wal-Mart has Tulip brand that sounds good enough, but is it safe to smear on my grandkids hands? easy to wash off? Is there another brand I should look for that's safe but permanent for fabric? If not, I'm thinking of just outlining the kid's hands on the shirts but I think the handprints would be much nicer.
