A nippy 24*F at 3am this morning, ice in the water buckets, but clear as a bell and the sliver of a moon and the stars provide a silvery glow reflected off of sand and dry sage/rabbit brush. Down the road a neighbor's dog barks as our porch light comes on and our two dogs burst through the door. A few buckets of hot, steaming water to break the ice and wash out the old water. Some more tepid water for drinking, and the "puppies" are settled in their dog house. I'm off to work in a few, but I thought I'd drop in with a hot cup of tea and wish you all a good Monday.
