A dear DG friend suggested that I look into this type. They seem to be friendly, low maintenance, very adjustable creatures. I have sent off an E to a farm that raises them not too awfully far from me. Does anyone have personal experience with them? When purchasing a calf, does just over $1 per pound sound about normal for a calf? I do realize breeding is important and saw calfs from $450-1800.
