I read somewhere that since Anthuriums end up with a rootstock growing well above the soil level after a while, that you can cut the bottom portion of the "original" rootstock off and repot the plant in a smaller pot. Does anyone have any light to shed on this? I am bringing in about 10 fairly large Anthurium andraeanums for the winter and it would really help if I were able to repot them into smaller pots. I don't want to try anything drastic though until I know more. If they died I would never forgive myself.
