My first Japanese Maple, "scolopendrifolium". It was purchased at Windmill Gardens, Sumner, Wash. They said it's a rare one, about 20 years old, and it should get about 9' tall. They also said they got on a tree-finding trip in Oregon. (I'm wondering if its originally from Forest Farm?) It's currently about 6' tall.

That is a beautiful speciman. I'm sure you'll love it and it looks very happy in it's spot. You'll enjoy it for a lot of years.
