Help with Pond

I am wanting to put in a small pond out of Hypertufa - not shaped out of rocks but rather smooth shaped into the shape of a fish (it is a redo of our cheaply lined pond!) Any ideas before I just jump out there and mess everything up! Any help would be great - Mitch
