Thank you Don and Dorothie, I am afraid we have had killing frost the last three nights. So the dahlias are gone even the imperialis which had buds. I knew it was chancey when I grew it; but thoroughly enjoy watching this 'beanstalk' as it is such a quick grower.

My married daughters are cooking me dinner and Leonard and I will catch a movie. All in all a wonderful day with such sweetness from my dahliaphiles wishing it so.
