just starting my 1st shade garden, lots of lily of the valley, oxalis, poker primrose, all scheduled to go in this week. Any advice, soil prep, etc, i'm in zone 5b. thanks

Hi, I've got lots of shade so if you need any suggestions for plants just let me know. Make sure to water frequently. I can't really give any soil tips cause I don't know what kind of soil you have. Sorry.

Lily of the Valley are beautiful plants, but they tend to
spread and invade. You might want to contain them by
using a divider, such as a piece of tin inserted level
in the soil. It is much easier to do this now rather than
later.
