Landmark Parks and Gardens Fall Color in Cincinnati

Cincinnati (Anderson, OH(Zone 6a)

Yesterday I went to a lecture by Steve Birnbaum from the US Department of Interior in Washington D.C. about protecting and restoring America's Urban Parks and Gardens... he especially complimented Cincinnati on the wealth and quality of parkland within the city limits (5000 acres for 350,000 people) and encouraged us to appreciate it and maintain it for it's historical value.

His talk made me take a closer look at our park resources so today I took a drive through Eden Park, the largest jewel in our emerald necklace of parks throughout the city...the fall color was lovely and they were having a special presentation at the Krohn Conservatory.
