What kind of Gourd?

This is one of the gourds that came from the seeds that Roadrunner (JO) gave me. Was wondering what kind it is.

I am definitely not a gourd expert, but it looks to me like a type of basket gourd.

I did have some basket seeds but they got mixed up somehow, I think my grandson moved all the tags. This was another one that was growing next to the basket gourd? No label for it either. He just loves to move the labels around

That one is usually referred to as a bottle gourd. I have seen it offered as birdhouse gourd and also tahitian bottle gourd.

I'd love to have seeds from that first one if you open it. :)

Yes, I used to call them Birdhouse gourds...then I found they they weren't listed on the gourd lists that way...they are listed as Badseed says...Bottle gourds...I have seeds if Sami doesn't open her's. On all that land you have now, Chele...I would be glad to send you a collection of gourd seeds!! They would sell good next fall ....Jo
