There's a fair amount of knitting and crocheting happening on our lunch hour where I work. The question came up today about how ingenius the person was who thought it up. To pick up two sticks and a string and make something out of it, was an incredible idea. So I thought I'd ask if anyone knows the story of how it all began.....
