Clematis tangutica seedheads... any experience?

Hello everyone,

I couldn't resist the yellow clematis, I purchased it last fall from Forestfarm and it did very well this year, now I have quite a few puffy seedheads and am thinking this might be one of those plants I want to save seeds for and try trading here.. As well as try growing more plants next year. Anyone especially gifted at growing clematis from seed? Any special way to dry them, and I've read that they need a bit of care to get them to sprout... Also how likely am I to have seeds from C. tangutica.. does anyone know how well they cross pollinate etc.?

I've been searching for photos I thought I took of the flower with no luck. :shrugs:
