I hope I did bring good weather with me. I still am shocked everytime I step outside and have that cold air hit me, and I know 50 is not cold. The folks here are so polite, it is refreshing.

Goodness! I just went out to let the cats out for the day and BRRRRRRRRRRR!!!! 35°!!!! That's the coldest we've gotten yet. But it's supposed to be warm all week, even reaching into the 70s later in the week.

Fall is butterfly season in my yard. However, they are very camera shy. This is as close as I can get. This is a painted lady on west Texas mist flower. Monarchs are even harder to photograph. They won't even alight when I have the camera out. It's a tiny camera, but they just know when I have the camera out. You know how animals are.

Oh, I think our nice extended fall is over....rain and cold for the next four days... We've been so fortunate, but still, no frost predicted either yet. We're WAY past the time when we should be having frost ALL the time.

6b here :-( but my one plabnt was caged, i clothespinned a shower curtain around it. a few fruits split/cracked, but its fine, & it likes cool weather... i haven't gone to see other damage yet though...
No killing frost here is Pa.yet either. Was 40 degrees until noon - I was out planting daylilies - all hardy dormants but one. Also ripped out some Coleus that showed signs of light frost and were droopy. Now up to 50 degrees, but still gusty and rainy.

Today I cut a rosemary bush way, way back. Yesterday I tied up the tomato plants because they have decided that it isn't time to call it a season yet. In fact, they're doing better now than they were in August. That Super Thrive stuff must really work. Also saw a tomato worm. Those things give me the willies.
