Senecio is one weird genus. If you don't have the flowers to compare, you'd never guess that some of the species were in the same family, much less genus. There's one with bright silver, slightly furred, long nearly-cylindrical leaves that I had in a succulent container, and there are all the non-succulent-leaved forms...
