A New Word Has Been Created

This just in: a new word has been created, sister to the familiar word "devotee"! A Davotee is someone who is interested in gardening, who has access to a computer, and who spends 1 to up to 4 or more hours a day online at the "Dave's Garden" web-site. The medical community still has not come down on either side of the raging debate: is this merely harmeless fun or is it a dangerous addiction? A Davotee may use meaningless abbreviations (such as dl, MG, DG, or brug) and may constantly be washing his/her hands, as if removing dirt from under the fingernails.
