Avian Flu: Anyone worried?

Well this is back in the news again. It seems now some animals have been slaughtered in eastern Europe after finding the flu in poultry. Is this strictly a commercial poultry issue? Should the backyard/organic poultry raiser be concerned about their animals or own health if the flu entered the U.S.?

It has me wondering if restarting a backyard flock is a good idea. On one hand I'm housing the hosts and the other hand I'd have an organic/clean supply of eggs and meat.
