I got this in trade from someone at Daves....it was marked yellow dinnerplate but it is really very red (my camera doesnt do red well) with yellow tips. A med size bloom. 5 or 6 inches..... does it look familiar.
this was a surprise....
It sure looks like 'Show and Tell' to me.
But someone who actually has the plant can tell you more.

Thank you so much for a push in what might be the right direction Carol.
I went to the dahlia net site and it does indeed look exactly like Show N Tell to me. The plant size (thick stalk) and large leaf sounds right also. It was a small tuber that was slow getting started and 3 times I almost threw it out. Actually went down there 2 weeks ago to do so and noticed a tiny bud so I decided I would let it bloom. Glad I did :)
