Hi! What is the cheapest way to get potting soil?

Hi.
I am starting a backyard nursery. So far I have gotten cuttings, seeds, and many pots for free. Im a stay at home mom and money is REALLY tight. Any ideas on how I can get the cheapest soil? Should I buy all the ingredients and make it myself? Or buy bags or a truck load? I also dont have much room. I have only a small compost bin. Thanks for any info.

If plants tolerate calcium. Use 50% CHEAP cat litter and remainder compost or decomposing mulch.
