Anyone recognize this?

Shepherd, TX(Zone 8b)

I got this Louisiana Iris at a plant swap a few years back as a no name, and was wondering if anyone recognized this as a named variety. It grows pretty tall, nearly 4 ft., and has these beautiful royal purple flowers. I had them planted in my bog area this year, and the rhizomes grew nearly as big around as a broomstick! I've never seen them that large, not even among my other LA irises. Any thoughts or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

I really hope that it is, but according to the PF info, it's too tall for BGC.

If grown well,
hight will vary .
Mine are always
5" to 10' taller because
i grow in water and fertilize almost all year.

sure is pretty one good picture..
