As is always the case with me, I get around to actually doing something when the muse strikes. This has been a real point of contention for the Boss, but she's a forgiving soul. We've finally put up the vertical posts for the new round pen here and this week will be adding the horizontal lumber and plywood "kick walls" so the horses can run in circles without tearing up their legs on posts or fence rails. The tall poles will have halogen spot lights mounted on them so the trainers can work the horses during cooler evening hours during our merciless summers.
