Looking for Heirloom potato

Tellico Plains, TN(Zone 7b)

Sieglinde Potato, a German heirloom potato.

Anyone in the US grow these ?

They are supposed to be perfect small potatoes and so tender skinned that they do not need to be peeled.

Nope, haven't, but sounds tempting, YUMMMM-MMMY!

This place has great heirloom potatoes, and maybe you could request he grow those next year:

Or maybe he could recommend one similar. What you describe sounds like ANY of the ones from him which i have grown...

It was just a idea I got from a friend in Canada that grows them. She posted a picture that prompted me to ask here.

I will check the link you sent.

Here they are: organic seed potatoes.

They sound like the Carola potatoes (also German) I got from Wood Prairie Farm and loved (great yield, too).

Ronnigers has them, too; look under their "mid-season potatoes" selection. www.ronnigers.com
