I was given a night blooming cereus from a friend and need some help. It looks like it is in pretty bad shape. The leaves are a bright red, not the deep green I see in all the pictures. Is it getting too much sun? Right now it is in a pot with plain potting soil under a palm tree in my front yard. It gets filtered sun for the afternoon. It bloomed one single bloom recently that was gorgeous. What can I do to make it happy? The leaves are all pretty scarred and marked up, is there a trick to get gorgeous leaves? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.
