When re-using these earth boxes next year, can you use the same mixture of soil and ferts that are in there presently or is it wiser to start over with fresh???

i believe you can use the same soil for 3 or 4 years. just take out the strip of fertilizer and add fresh potting soil as needed.

Herbie43 has it right. You might even be able to get 5 or 6 years. But, that is with the best quality soil you can buy to start with. In almost any case you should be able to get 3 or 4 years.
