I've had extensive vole or field mouse damage in the winter--the critters chew the bark off my roses and make "rivers" through my lawn. I placed mouse bait in each rose covering last fall--it did help but in some instances they ate all the bait and then ate the bark off the branches right down to the frozen ground. The lawn looked like it had been "ploughed"--had to reseed part of it. Any helpful advice will be appreciated.
vole damage in winter
I'm losing expensive shrubs. Either gopher bait isn't working or they're multiplying too fast. Will look into a company for pest control tomorrow and report.
