Horse help in LA

Social Circle, GA(Zone 8a)

I got this from my DOA. In case anyone is interested:

Dr. Rocky Bigbie, Director of Field Veterinary Services w/ Fort Dodge Animal Health, emailed me to tell me that he just returned from a week's duty at the equine rescue/boarding facility in Gonzales, LA. Dr. Bigbie said they need volunteers with horse experience to muck stalls, sling hay and other horse husbandry efforts. He said they DO NOT need any more supplies except for a few items.

If you would like to volunteer, Dr. Bigbie recommends that you call the horse help line at LSU was 225-578-9501 (may not be attended 24/7).

Note - This request has NOT been substantiated. It is imperative that interested individuals call LSU before taking any action.
