I received this from my elderly aunt a few year ago...she felt that it was unusual...at least for our area.

Can anyone tell me anything about it ? Its roughly 8 " diameter.

It sure looks like 'Hee Haugh' to me.
Look up on Swan Island Dahlia website and you should find a similar pic.

MY thoughts exactly,Carol, but Hee Haugh is not 8 inches in diameter. So maybe something else?

Your know how hard it is to get good photos sometimes. The color is right but I dont think the petal shape is right.

It is very alike Sherwoods Peach at Old House Gardens. Stats are right on the money too. My aunt said it was an old cultivar.

Yes, I was wrong. I am at work and have dial-up so the pics don't come up fast so I don't click on them. Sorry, was wrong. The petals are huge compared to 'Hee Haugh'.
