Margaran, Thanks. I sat there for about a half hour just taking pictures and watching HER. Awsome creature! I kinda 'directed' her away from the walk area on the porch so no one would step on her. Yes, it's a female from the quick research I did. Females are larger and not as brightly colored, like birds.
Htop, I don't know about 'cute.' LOL Definately a beauty in the mantis kingdom!
Also, apparently a garden 'GoodGal.'

Here is a photo of one I named "Cami" (for camouflage). It reminded me of my kids when they were quite little posing for their studio photos with shy little smiles on their faces.
