Will they grow in pots ?

I would like to know if anyone has had luck growing Datura, in pots over the winter, from seeds.

Last fall I started two Datura Black Current Swirls from seed. I brought them in during the winter and kept them in a sunny window. They only grew about 6 inches total. After the last frost, I planted them outside and they just took off--particularly when the weather got hot. I have to say that my black current sure had a head start over my d. wrightii (which started from seed in May). Good luck,
