Cactus Halos.....do they qualify?

Temecula, CA(Zone 8b)

Today's new addition to our cactus and sculpture garden is a Cardon (Echinopsis terschekii). It is a native to Mexico and the lower Sonoran desert. This rascal is over 11ft tall and weighs a ton (no kidding). We planted it today after digging it from a friend's cactus collection/nursery that is going out of business. He offered it to me and I heartily accepted. The halo was actually a stepping stone form from the back garden where the bench is. It seemed like a good tool to use to keep this monster from falling down as it settles in. Don't know if it's art, but it's a big boy...lol.

hope all are well,
don
