real dried roses...color dying ideas? please

Hi, My daughter picked a difficult color for her Wedding next June 2006, I dont like the fake baby blue Roses (silk and plastic) that you can find at the craft stores, so I decided to get some silica and try drying my own ... well it has worked great but now I need to try and dye or paint them baby blue........Any Ideas/Suggestions?
