Where do you find them on the flower? Is it the "seed" in the center of the bell after it dries? I'm guessing there's something in there - but those ^&$$%$#^% stickers are a little off-putting. Thought I'd ask first - then tackle them only if there's to be a prize waiting at the end of the bloodbath!
Bells of Ireland seeds
Yes they are in the centre. Here's a photo http://davesgarden.com/pf/showimage/86808/
Thank you. Duh! I never thought to check plant files for seeds - makes sense, though! Guess I will go brave the stickers, then!
sequee good luck. I've always wanted to try these.
Allow me to send you some - they are outrageously full of seeds. Each stalk has about 10-12 cluster. Each cluster has 5-8 blossoms. Each blossom has 4 seeds. YIKES! That's allota seeds.
Is there anything else you are looking for? Send me an e-mail, (but you'll have to be patient - no seed packaging/mailing until the garden closes down for the season).
