I ahve been watching my triple yellow datura for the one seed od to mature and when i looked down today I see its open, like something has chewed through it....I ahd ants all over inside the pod..these are the tiny brown ants..not red ants..any thoughts?..this was a suprise......Judy
Jutz, I saw this week that I have very tiny brown ants in the blooms of my Brugs, and they are eating the bloom, never noticed them befor.
I have been Polinizing several flowers and no luck seeing pods yet, I wonder if they are eating the pollen!!!!

They arent doing anything to my flowers on the datura..there was just a big hole on the side and inside were alot of the ants....maybe to them its sweet.....I should have taken a picture of it befoe I saved my seeds.....Judy
