One of my guavas and my toadlily have rust; or atleast it looks like "rust". There's on seperate sides of the house so it's unrelated, I think.
How do I treat treat this and with what? I'm really hoping it can be treated with something inexpensive that I may already have or can just go to Home Depot to get, instead of ordering for big bucks online!
Guava and Toadlily Rust
Something with chlorothalonil as the active ingredient will work for rust. Keep in mind, the damage already there will not go away, but new growth will be protected.
Should I leave my guava plants out once it gets colder to make it lose it's leaves, then bring it indoors b4 it gets too cold to come out of dormancy? Or could that harm it?
I'm not sure about that. Mine stay outside all year round.
