Here is the PF link for this one:

Does anyone have experience with it? I'm specifically interested in how tall it actually grows.
Experience with Zulu Chief?
probably 3 feet in real good soil and growing condition the six feet ones don't go dormant or if do not for long
i get about 42" and have longer growing season
The AIS site gives this information on it.
(B. Charles Jenkins, R. 1992
34-44" tall (86-112 cm)
"Glowing black purple, subdued gold signal
McGlory~
I took that picture at Aitken's Salmon Creek Garden in Vancouver, WA. As I remember, it was growing a bit shorter than the 42+ inch ones. I would guess it's height to be around the 36" mark, although it has been reported to grow up to 44 inches.
Thank you everyone. Though PF said up to 48", I found a site selling the rhizomes that claimed up to 6 feet. Now I can't find where that was. You can understand why a claim of 6 feet made me raise my eyebrows!
