I know it's been an unusually hot summer.
But, I see many more lawns that are looking beyond repair.
I know in our yard, we had an outbreak of annual blue grass, which IS A WEED. It looks much like perennial bluegrass, but this plant goes to seed easily and dies off in the summer.
It germinates in spring and in fall.
It kills off perennial bluegrass leaving a brown mat of dead grass behind and bald patches of dirt.
Anyone else having this problem?
What are you doing to get rid of it?
