CLOSED: Alien Life Form, Need Ident please!

=D Well it looks alien to me!! We have never seen this little bugger here before and I would like any information on it. (poisonous, what is it, etc) My nephew found this next door at his house. So if there is one there has to be many more!

Help us please before we are taken over! lol

That is a "hickory horned devil" caterpillar. They are completely harmless. They will turn into rather attractive large moths. http://www.ces.ncsu.edu/depts/ent/notes/O&T/trees/note108/note108.html

The Hickory Horn Devil refers to the caterpillar. The adult moth is known as the 'Regal Moth', a member of the Saturninidae family. Stunning moth!
