why is celosia fafing?

I purchased a few celosia at Walmart. I repotted yesterday. I read they are suppose to be in full sun., that they like the heat. I potted some in a pot in the house too. They didn't fade. Does anyone have any experience with them? The picture is them before the blooms started to fade.

Hi Up here in zone 3 we put them in full sun. In a pot they need good amount of water if the container has good drainage.
When the blooms fade I remove them with some sharp cutters. If there is time new blooms will form. I also feed mine as our growing season is so short and I figure anuals can take it.
