Pruned my way into trouble.......

and snipped half of my variegated jasmine off right at the bottom!! Trying to clear out stupid crepe myrtle shoots, and snipped through the jasmine. I'm just sick!!! It had buds all up & down the already leafed out vine.......=( Put two cuttings of trunk into water to root, and the majority of the vine into soil mix, dipped in rooting hormone.

Anyone think there's a chance I'll be able to salvage my poor jasmine "cuttings?" I could just puke.......

I'm so sorry that happened!

I did that a few years ago with another vine. I was nauseated, too!

It did have a happy ending though, as many of the pieces rooted, so hopefully some of yours will, too.

It will also come back from the roots.

You definitely have my sympathy...I know how it feels. Keep your chin up and stay hopeful.
