I moved this "obelisque" from it's random, fallen over spot on the lawn near the barn and stone fence to my rose/daylily/iris garden this year. The former owners left it there. I should say I hired a bunch of men to move it, since it took 4 of them to lift it! Then I found the crazed pot bottom and the stone vase carved by a man from Tibet who lives locally. When my daughter was here last week from San Francisco, she knew I wanted to move a penstemon somewhere and suggested this spot. I love the red against the grey/black stone.
My DD's good idea.
