Good grief where is the summer going? Radio, yesterday, said MN state fair starts in 2 weeks. That's offical end of summer here!
We got started early. Dug some potatoes before the big rain comes. It's sprinkling lightly. Would be nice to get a nice shower. Lately it has rained all around us. Still not hurting for moisture. I mowed some lawn yesterday, it's still green & growing like crazy.
Watermelons are near ripe. Tried one on Sunday. It was not red enough, but sure was sweet.
Muskmelons just keep getting bigger, lots of 10 to 15 pounders laying around. I suppose they will all be ripe at once!
