When my DS was 5, his best friend was invited to spend the night. I'll never forget this little guy at the dinner table - actually he's hard to forget cuz he was my son's Best Man at his wedding 3 year ago!!

He asked me after cleaning 2 plates if he could call his Mom...I thought, oh no, this little guy is homesick....

Nope! I told him of course, dialed the number for him...."Mom, could you call Andy's Mom tomorrow and find out how she makes this Beef Stew?"

I'm not sure I've ever had a bigger compliment :)

Any others?
