I have a hanging basket of Blue daze a 1 gallon container. How much water do they need? Do they need fertilzer for blooms? If i have them in basket. Does it need water every day? Please explain!!

I love this little blue bloomer!! This plant will take a lot of abuse. I had one in a pot in the sunniest spot at the corner of the patio. It would be baked all day for most of the year. I just gave it some time release fertilizer and watered it when I did the rest of the hangers (every other day in really ot weather.) It will let you know when it is thirsty by hanging its head sadly. Lol. After 5 years of this abuse, I finally transplanted it into the ground.

BTW. It is perennial here.
