It only figures Elaine, roses and clematis go well so together and in the Pacific NorthWest. I planted Perle d'Azur. It is a beauty too in a fairly clear blue color. It just finished here.

PS Pirl, I had a poorly drained pot of wet, fertile soil to dump out so I used it to top-dress my potted clematis, burying the base of the plant a bit, all the while thinking "Pirl's gonna be happy" . . .
