Started this 'Lilac le Fleur" from seed,stuck it in my garden at about 12'' tall and forgot about it. My hubby is 6 feet tall and this datura is not even standing up straight! I'd guess it to be about 9 feet tall. Actually EVERYTHING in this bed looks like some weird scientific experiment gone awry. The zinnias to the right are supposed to be 18 inches tall. Try about 5 feet. Think were a little too close to the nuclear power plant.......
Wow..... what did you do ? If it was April 1 - I'd think you shrunk your hubby and pasted him in with the plants...... their size is awesome...... what was the secret .....
Beds were prepared with mix of half topsoil,half well rotted horse manure.Lil' too much manure,do ya think?
If small was what you were going for then Yeah, I'd say you got a little carried away ...... but it looks awesome.... I can only imagine how awesome it is to stand under them.....
