I am new to gardening, DG and Datura's. I've posted a few times over on the Brug forum and finally realized what I have is Daturas. What I am most curious to know is whether not I can keep these plants alive through the winter in the NW section of LA on the OK, TX, Arkansas border? They are outside and growing like crazy. I also have many horn of plenty sprouts from seeds that I want to plant in a couple of pots for porch/patio color but I don't wantto kill them this winter. We have fairly mild winters, we do get freeze but for short periods of time and the days warm up very well?????? Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Save some seeds and plant them just before spring for seedlings. Like Brugs they are bug magnets to try to overwinter inside.
