How to kill a photinia

Fredericksburg, TX(Zone 8a)

I had a photinia that we recently cut down. I am wondering if it will send up babies to get revenge on me. Do photinia do that? If yes, can I kill the roots if I drill out a hole in each stump and pour in molasses? Thanks

hi! did you mean to put this in the organic forum? silly me, i don't even know what a phoyinia is...

Yea, I did because I'm an organic gardener and don't want to use poisons to kill any babies that might come up from the shrub I cut down.
Photinia is a non-native shrub that does well I guess in the right place, but apparently my yard is not the right place. For half the year it would look half way decent, but then half the year it looked awful.

well, surely someone will have an answer for you soon :-) forgive my one-handed typing oplease :-)

hope you don't get any babies!
